Nope, the PS5 can't play PS3 discs. You'll need to stream or download PS3 games through PlayStation Now if you want to play them!

I tried popping in my old PS3 disc to the PS5, but it’s a no-go. Gotta use PlayStation Now for that.

Unfortunately, the PS5 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 discs. It's a bummer, but there are other ways to play those gems.
