Nope, Rex is a no-show in Fallout 4. You're thinking of Fallout: New Vegas. But hey, Dogmeat's got your back in Boston, and honestly, he’s a pretty awesome companion. Who needs Rex when you've got Dogmeat, right?

Wrong game, mate! Rex is from New Vegas, not Fallout 4. But, don't worry; Dogmeat's just as cool and doesn't need cyber enhancements to be a badass companion.

Sadly, no, Rex can't be your companion in Fallout 4. Fallout 4 has its own set of unique companions, like Dogmeat, the lovable German Shepherd. Rex is actually a cyber-dog from Fallout: New Vegas, another game in the series. So, while you won't see Rex in the Boston wasteland, Dogmeat's ready to fill those paw prints as your loyal sidekick!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!
