Nope, only the main player gets to have all the terraforming fun :( Second players can help in other ways, but when it comes to major landscape changes, the island rep holds the shovel.

Can confirm! After my partner unlocked terraforming, I, as the second player, was able to terraform too. Just had to cough up the Nook Miles for those permits. It鈥檚 a game-changer, literally!

Absolutely! In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, once the primary resident (a.k.a. the Island Representative) has unlocked terraforming by completing Tom Nook鈥檚 tasks and getting the Island Designer app, other players living on the same island can also get in on the terraforming action. However, they need to buy the permits for paths, waterscaping, and cliff construction with their Nook Miles from the Nook Stop. So, teamwork makes the dream work!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
