Nah, Splatoon 2 won't let you transfer saves. Nintendo's ink-credible like that!
When I got a new Switch, I transferred all my profile data using the 'System Transfer' option in system settings, which included my Splatoon 2 progress. Just make sure both consoles have the latest updates!
