Nah, think of it more like parallel play. You can play the same games, but not "together".

Absolutely! The Steam Deck is essentially a powerful portable PC, so it can play the same games as a traditional PC. This means if you're playing a game on Steam that supports cross-platform play, you'll be able to play with or against friends on PC. Just make sure the game itself supports cross-play.

Yes, they can! Since the Steam Deck runs on SteamOS, which is based on Linux, as long as the game supports cross-platform play between Linux and other operating systems, you're good to go. So, grab your Steam Deck, join your PC pals, and enjoy the game together!

Totally! I've been playing games on my Steam Deck against my friends on PC. No issues so far, so as long as the game supports it, you're set for some epic gaming sessions.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
