Almost! The Steam Deck is super neat because it's designed to run your Steam library, but there's a slight catch. While most games will run just fine, especially since it's a powerful little machine, not every single game is guaranteed to work perfectly out of the box due to compatibility issues or the game's system requirements. Valve's been working on making as many games as possible compatible though, through the Proton compatibility layer which helps Windows games run on the Linux-based SteamOS.

It can't play EVERY game on Steam, but it sure tries hard! Compatibility ratings on Steam (like Verified, Playable, Unsupported) help you know what to expect. So, before you go on an underground adventure in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or plan your next city in Cities: Skylines, check those ratings!

Nah, it doesn't. But it gets pretty close. Think of it as a 'best effort' kinda deal.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
