Unfortunately, you can't play Destiny 2 on Steam Deck out of the box. Bungie hasn't made it compatible due to anti-cheat concerns. So, installing Windows is your best bet if you really want to take your Destiny 2 adventures on the go with the Steam Deck.

Yes, the Steam Deck can play Destiny 2, but there's a catch. Destiny 2 isn't officially supported on SteamOS (the Deck's operating system) due to its anti-cheat software. However, gamers have found ways around this by installing Windows on the Steam Deck, which then allows you to play Destiny 2 just like on a regular PC. Just keep in mind, it requires a bit of tech savvy to get it running smoothly.

Short answer: No, not without jumping through some hoops. Destiny 2 doesn't play nice with SteamOS because of its strict anti-cheat system.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
