Of course, you can play Epic Games on the Steam Deck but it's a bit of a detour! You'll need to use the desktop mode to install the Epic Games Launcher first. After that, it's smooth sailing, and you can play your Epic Games titles just like on a regular PC.

Hot take: why bother with Epic when there's plenty of fish in the sea that is Steam's vast library? Stick to Steam games on the Deck for a hassle-free life.

I've actually done this myself! Installed the Epic Games Launcher on my Steam Deck via desktop mode, and it works like a charm. Playing Fortnite on the go has never been easier. Sure, it's a workaround, but totally worth it for the games I love.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
