Absolutely! The Steam Deck isn't just limited to your Steam library. Since it's essentially a portable PC, you can install third-party software and even other game storefronts. This means you can play non-Steam games as well. It's like carrying a mini gaming computer in your hands that isn't tied to just one store's offerings.

Yeah, it can. Just think of it as a mini PC. So if you can run it on Linux or install Windows on your Steam Deck, then you're good to go with whatever game or app you wanna use, Steam or not.

Nope, sticking to Steam games is the best. The Steam Deck is optimized for Steam, so why bother complicating things with other stores? Keep it simple and sweet.

For sure, the Steam Deck is more than just a Steam machine. I've got Windows on mine and can confirm it runs non-Steam games and apps just fine. It's pretty cool to switch between SteamOS for my Steam games and Windows for everything else.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
