Absolutely not! The Steam Deck is cool for portable gaming, but replacing a PC? In your dreams. It lacks the power, upgradeability, and utility of a good ol' desktop.

Nah, think of the Steam Deck more like a PC's cool, portable cousin. It's awesome for gaming on the go with your Steam library, but it won't replace the raw power and versatility of a full desktop. You can't easily upgrade it, and while it runs many PC games smoothly, the performance and screen size don't match up to a dedicated PC setup. Great for what it is, just not a PC replacement.

IDK why anyone would argue this. I've been using my Steam Deck as my main gaming device since launch. Sure, it's not the same as my gaming PC, but for someone who's always on the move, it's perfect. Maybe not a total replacement, but it's pretty close for gamers at least.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
