Yes, the Hylian Shield can indeed break in Tears of the Kingdom, but it's super durable so you'll be deflecting a ton of attacks before it happens. Good news is, just like in Breath of the Wild, you can get it repaired or find yourself another one.

Actually, it breaks, but it's kinda like dropping your phone. You know it can happen, but you're shocked when it does because it's so durable. Just take care of it, and you'll be fine for ages.

Nah, why worry? It practically lasts forever unless you're using it to block a Calamity Ganon tantrum daily.

It does break but considering how tough it is, you'll rarely see it happen. Plus, finding or repairing it is part of the adventure!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
