Nope, PS3 Slim can't play PS2 games. It's one of those features you miss from the original PS3 models.

Unfortunately, the PS3 Slim does not support PS2 games. Only the original 20GB, 60GB, and certain 80GB models on the PS3 can do backward compatibility with PS2 titles.

Just get a PS2 for the real nostalgia trip. Or look for an early model PS3 that supports backward compatibility!
