No, the PS5 can't directly play PS3 discs or digital games, but you can stream some PS3 titles via PlayStation Now.

Sadly, the PS5 doesn't support PS3 games, but hey, you can still enjoy amazing PS4 and PS5 titles!

Not natively, but PlayStation Now lets you stream a selection of PS3 games if you're subscribed.

I've tried my old PS3 games on the PS5, and they don't work. But PS Now gave me my fix!
