From my experience, the PS5 handles PS4 games like a champ, but if you want to dive into PS3 or earlier games, you're outta luck unless they're re-releases.
The PS5 can play most PS4 games thanks to backward compatibility, but it's a no-go for PS3, PS2, and PS1 discs unless they're part of a remastered collection.
