Technically, no, the Steam Deck can't natively run Nintendo games because they're designed for Nintendo's specific hardware and operating systems. However, there's a but... creative folks might use emulators to play Nintendo games on the Steam Deck. It's not officially supported or endorsed by Valve or Nintendo, though, and there are legal and ethical considerations to keep in mind!

Nope. Nintendo games are a no-go directly on the Steam Deck. Nintendo's pretty strict about their games running on their consoles only. But hey, Steam's got a massive library, who needs anything else?

Absolutely not directly, for legal and ethical reasons. Emulating Nintendo games on the Steam Deck or any device without owning the original game and console is a murky territory.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
