Nope, your canine companions are immortal when it comes to the Transdogrifier in Fallout 4. They might whimper and lay down after taking a beating, but they won't actually die. So, you can explore the wasteland with your furry friend without worrying about losing them forever!

Dogs in Fallout 4 have plot armor thicker than a super mutant's skull. They can't die, even if they probably should after that last Raider attack.

Honestly, those dogs just play dead better than an actor in a soap opera. They take a hit, they lay down, then they're back up like nothing happened.

Are we really still asking if dogs can die in Fallout 4? They鈥檙e basically invincible. Might as well ask if the Sole Survivor needs to eat.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
