Unfortunately, no, the Xbox One controller doesn't work with the Xbox 360. They use different wireless protocols.

Sorry, nope. The Xbox One controller isn't compatible with the Xbox 360. You'll need an original Xbox 360 controller for that.

Speaking from experience, I tried it myself and it just doesn't work. Stick to the controllers made for each console.
