Nope. Sharing is caring, but not when it comes to playing at the same time on one account. Steam's rulebook says that's a no-go.

Technically yes, but it's not as simple as it sounds. Steam doesn't allow two people to play games simultaneously on the same account. However, there's a feature called Steam Family Sharing that lets you share your game library with family members on different computers. So one person can play at a time, but you can share the love (and the games)!

As someone who's tried (and failed) to game the system, here's the lowdown: you can't both play at the same time on one account. But, with Steam Family Sharing, we've set up our PCs so my partner and I can take turns playing each other's games. It's like sharing toys, but cooler because it's video games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
