Nah, GTA 5 doesn't support split-screen or local co-op play on the same console. You and your friend gotta have your own setups if you wanna cause chaos in Los Santos together.

Unfortunately, GTA 5 doesn't come with a built-in option for two players on the same console. It's a solo adventure or online multiplayer where each player needs their own console and game copy.

Quick answer: nope. GTA 5 is a no-go for couch co-op. Missed opportunity if you ask me.
