GTA 5 is great and all, but when it comes to playing across Xbox and PS4, it's a no-go. You're stuck playing with folks on the same console as you. Kinda like being in different gangs that never meet.

Nope, sorry to burst your bubble but GTA 5 doesn't support cross-platform play. So, Xbox and PS4 players can't play together. You're gonna have to pick a side and stick with it or get both consoles if you've got friends on each.

Short answer? No. Long answer? Still no, but think of it as an opportunity to double your fun (and maybe your expenses) if you have both consoles.

No crossplay in GTA 5. Xbox players with Xbox, PS4 players with PS4. That's the rule of the streets.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
