Nope. Dark Souls Remastered and the original version aren't cross-compatible for multiplayer. You gotta stick to playing with folks who have the same version as you.

Unfortunately, the multiplayer servers for Dark Souls Remastered are separate from the original game. So, if your friends are on the original, you'll need to match versions.

As someone who tried, I can tell you that they don't mix. You'll need everyone on the same version, either Remastered or the original.
