Can you add an SSD to Steam Deck?
LettingTail路7 months agoAbsolutely, you can upgrade the Steam Deck's storage with a new SSD! But remember, it uses an M.2 2230 form factor which isn't the most common size, so make sure you grab the right one. Also, be ready for a bit of a DIY adventure because you'll have to open up the Steam Deck to make the swap.

No need to swap the SSD, just use a microSD card. It's way easier and you don't risk messing something up inside.
Upgraded mine with a new SSD last weekend. Totally doable but took some patience and careful handling. The speed difference is noticeable!
