Unfortunately, nope. Apex Legends itself doesn't offer an 'appear offline' feature. You gotta use your Xbox settings to appear offline to your friends. Not ideal, but it does the trick.
Actually, just set your whole Xbox profile to appear offline. It's not an Apex thing, it's a console thing. Works like a charm every time I'm trying to game in peace.
