Nope, that's not how it works. In Commander, you attack players, not their commanders. If a commander is on the battlefield, it's just another creature that can block or be attacked, but you're still hitting the player's life total.

Absolutely, you can attack a commander directly in Magic The Gathering! Just like any other player, commanders can be targeted by attacks when declaring attackers during the combat phase. Make sure your opponent doesn't have any creatures that can block for their commander, though!

Yes, you can! I do it all the time to keep those pesky commanders in check. Direct attacks on commanders are a solid strategy, especially if you're trying to rack up commander damage for a win!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
