Nope, first turn attacks are a big no-no for the player who goes first, but if you're player two? Game on! Get ready to rumble and throw down your best attack right out of the gate.

Honestly, attacking first as the second player is my favorite part. It's like getting a surprise attack in. Huge adrenaline rush and sometimes, it totally throws off my opponent's game plan.

Going second and attacking immediately? Overrated. I'd rather use the turn to set up my board. Sure, attacking is cool, but strategy wins games.

Absolutely, you can attack on your very first turn if you're going second in Pokemon TCG. While the player who goes first can't attack on their opening turn, the second player gets to unleash their moves right away. It's all part of the strategy, giving the second player a bit of an edge to compensate for going second.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
