Nope, you can't be a supermutant in Fallout 4. You play as the Sole Survivor from Vault 111, and being a supermutant isn't in the cards for your character. But, hey, you get to meet and team up with a friendly supermutant named Strong, who's all about that supermutant life.
Sadly, no supermutant gameplay for us in Fallout 4. Would've loved tromping around the Commonwealth and seeing things from a different, much taller perspective. Missed opportunity, Bethesda!
