Nope, Spotify doesn't let you block artists, but feel free to skip away whenever they come on!
Short answer: No, you can't block an artist.
I've tried too, but blocking an artist isn't an option. Just skip their tracks or create playlists without them.
You can 'hide' songs from artists you dislike in your playlists or the Discover Weekly section by choosing the 'hide this song' option.
