Nope, you can't just walk into a store and grab a Steam Deck off the shelf. You have to order it online through the official Steam website. It's a bit of a bummer for those of us who love instant gratification from a brick-and-mortar shopping spree, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles with this high-demand gadget.

Actually, the direct answer is no. Steam Deck is not available in physical retail stores. You've gotta go through the digital realm of the Steam website to snag one. So, make sure your internet connection is solid and prepare for the virtual checkout line.

As of my last check, you can't buy a Steam Deck at physical stores. It's an online exclusive, folks. So your best bet is to order directly from Steam's website. Trust me; I tried the old-fashioned way and ended up just refreshing my browser at home.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
