Yep, you can switch to Survival mode in Fallout 4 anytime you want! Just dive into the settings menu from your pause screen, navigate to the 'Gameplay' options, and you can change the difficulty to Survival there. Yes, but choose wisely. Switching to Survival mode after you've started the game is doable, but if you decide it's too tough and switch back, you can't switch to Survival again with that same character. Survival isn't for the faint-hearted!
