I've had to make a new PSN account to switch regions. It's pretty easy and lets you access region-specific content.
Nope, once you pick a region for your PSN account, you're stuck with it. But creating a new account is a good workaround!
Unfortunately, you can't directly change the region on an existing PSN account. But, you can always create a new account with the desired region! Just use a different email and select the region you want during setup.
