Yep, you can charge the Steam Deck with a phone charger, but there's a catch. You need to make sure the charger supports USB-C with enough power output to charge the device effectively. Not all phone chargers are created equal, so if you've got one that's powerful enough (ideally 45W or more), you should be able to charge your Steam Deck without any issues. Just don't expect it to charge as fast as the original charger.

No way, using a phone charger is a bad idea. It's like using a water pistol to put out a house fire. Just stick to the charger that came with it or get one that's actually meant for the Steam Deck.

Sure, but slow and steady wins the race. Most phone chargers are USB-C these days, so technically, you can. Just don't be in a hurry.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
