Nope, you need Mortal Empires DLC to combine the maps. Just having both games isn't enough.

I've done this with my copy and it's amazing! The combined Mortal Empires campaign gives you an enormous world to dominate. Just make sure both games are installed on your PC. Enjoy the carnage!
