Can you complete Fallout 4 without joining a faction?
Not really, because main quests require you to ally with at least one faction to progress in the story. However, you can still enjoy a lot of the game's content and exploration without picking sides early on. Just know that eventually, to see the endgame, you'll need to make a choice.
