Sure can! But you'll need a special adapter, like the 8BitDo Wireless USB Adapter to make it work. Plug it into your Switch dock, pair the controller, and you're good to go.

I've connected my Xbox controller to my Switch using the Brook X ONE Adapter. Works perfectly for games like Breath of the Wild. Just remember, no gyro controls though.
