Actually, while you can connect it directly using an adapter like someone mentioned, I found you might not get the best experience without the dock. The official dock is designed to support the Steam Deck's output capabilities better, including charging while you play.

Yep, you totally can! All you need is a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Just plug the USB-C end into your Steam Deck and the HDMI end into your TV. It's a simple plug-and-play setup, so you don't have to wait for the official dock to enjoy your games on a bigger screen.

No dock, no problem. Just get an adapter.

Definitely! An adapter works fine. Been doing it myself and it's awesome for couch gaming sessions. Remember, high-quality adapters ensure a smoother experience.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
