Totally, you can derank in Apex Legends, but only in Ranked play. You see, your rank is safe within each tier's divisions, like Gold IV to Gold I. But once you hit a new tier, like jumping from Gold to Platinum, you can't drop back to Gold no matter what happens in your next matches. So, while you can slide down divisions if you're having a rough go, you won't fall out of your overall tier once you've locked it in.

Nope, once you're in a tier, you're there to stay for the season. Can't fall back to a lower tier, only down divisions.

Yes, but it's not as bad as it sounds. The system is designed to prevent total freefall, so while you might drop a few divisions within your tier, you won't plummet back to square one. Speaking from experience, it takes a mix of bad luck and bad days to really derank significantly. Keep at it, and you'll find your footing again!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
