lol no, you think this is Uno? You gotta play by the rules. Discarding is part of game mechanics controlled by cards or effects, not a free action.

Actually, discarding your hand isn't a thing you can do on demand. There are specific cards and abilities that might force you to discard, but Magic The Gathering doesn't generally let you dump your hand without a reason.

Nope, you can't just toss your hand whenever you feel like it in MTG. You gotta follow the rules of the cards or game state. Like, if a card says 'discard your hand,' then off they go, but you can't just do it to avoid giving your opponent the satisfaction of beating you fair and square.

Discarding at will? Nah, only if a card effect says so. Magic has rules for a reason.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
