Short answer: No. MTG Arena doesn't let you break down cards for resources. Rather, it rewards you with Wildcards for opening packs, which you can then swap for any card of a matching rarity.

Nope, you can't dismantle cards in MTG Arena like you might in other digital card games. Instead, MTG Arena uses a system called the 'Wildcard' system. Whenever you open booster packs, you get Wildcards of different rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythic Rare) that you can exchange for any card of the same rarity. So instead of dismantling cards you don't want, you collect Wildcards to get the cards you do want!

Actually, I kinda wish we could dismantle cards in MTG Arena, would make getting those single copies I need a lot easier. But alas, Wildcards are what we've got. It's not too bad once you get the hang of it.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
