Apex Legends = 3-player squads. So, you and your friend need a +1 or you'll be playing a man down. It's just how the game rolls.

Unfortunately, no. Apex Legends is designed as a three-player squad game. You can duo up in the lobby, but the game will automatically add a third player to your squad to fill it up. If you really wanna stick to just you and your buddy, you could try not filling the squad, but you'll be at a slight disadvantage.

Actually, kinda yes. While Apex is mostly a 3-man squad deal, there are times when they run limited-time modes that allow duos. So, keep an eye out for those events if you prefer playing just with your friend.

No way, you've gotta roll three deep in Apex. But hey, it's a chance to make a new friend or perfect your carrying skills!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
