Unfortunately, there isn't a 'donate' button for Robux. One workaround is buying their clothing or game passes they created to give them some Robux.
Nope, you can't just hand over Robux directly.
From personal experience, the best way is to have your friend create a game pass or a shirt and you buy it. That's how I always do it!
