Nope, don't bother. Just get a 3DS or a 2DS and play it legit. Emulation can be a hassle, and nothing beats the feel of playing it on the console it was made for.

Totally, but remember, while emulating AC:NL can be a fun way to experience the game on your PC or even smartphone, owning an actual copy of the game is crucial to keep things on the up and up. Always support the developers!

Yes, you can emulate Animal Crossing: New Leaf! You鈥檒l need a 3DS emulator like Citra for your PC. It鈥檚 pretty nifty cause you get to enjoy your favorite game with enhanced graphics and performance on a bigger screen. Just make sure you get the game legally to avoid any piracy issues!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
