Absolutely, you can flicker a creature during combat to avoid damage! Flickering refers to exiling a card and then returning it to the battlefield immediately after. This can be super handy during combat because when the creature comes back, it’s considered a new object with no damage on it, and importantly, it's no longer attacking or blocking. So, if you have a spell or ability that flickers, you can use it to dodge incoming damage, save your creature from a deadly combat, or simply reset its abilities.

No way, that's just dodging. Real players don't need to flicker to avoid damage. Face it head-on!

Yep, flicker it right out of there! Just remember it’s all about timing. Do it before the damage step, or it won’t work.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
