Absolutely! Getting around sacrificing in MTG can be as creative as the game itself. You can use cards that have 'sacrifice' abilities as a cost but get around it by using cards that replace or negate the sacrifice effect. Think 'Sigarda, Host of Herons' to prevent forces sacrifices, or use 'Brought Back' to immediately return what you've sacrificed to the battlefield. It's all about the combo!

Been there, done that. Used 'Assure // Assemble' on my key creature before sacrificing. It felt like cheating the system. The look on my opponent's face was priceless.

Nah, just take the hit. Sacrificing is part of the game's strategy and trying to circumvent it complicates your gameplay. Embrace the sacrifice, plan for it, and turn it to your advantage instead.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
