Hot take: Why bother? The whole point of the Steam Deck is to enjoy the vast Steam library on the go. Adding Epic Games feels like trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

Technically, yes, but it's not straightforward. The Steam Deck runs on SteamOS, a Linux-based system, but you can install Windows on it. Once you have Windows on your Steam Deck, you can then install the Epic Games Store and play games from there. Just be aware, installing Windows might require some technical know-how and could void your warranty.

Yes, but with a catch. You need to use the desktop mode on Steam Deck to install the Heroic Games Launcher, an alternative way to access Epic Games titles on Linux. It's not officially supported by Epic, but it works for many games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
