Nah, I've played GTA 5 for years, through countless thunderstorms, and never once got struck by lightning. Might be an urban legend or something cuz honestly, it sounds like a one-in-a-million shot.

Got struck once! Thought it was a glitch at first, but yep, lightning can hit you in GTA 5. Was flying a plane during a storm and BOOM, next thing I know, I'm parachuting out of the wreckage. Wild stuff!

Yep, you absolutely can get zapped by lightning in GTA 5. It's super rare, but when you're out and about in a storm, especially in open areas, there's a chance lightning might just decide you're its next target. It's one of those cool details that makes the game's world feel alive and unpredictable.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
