Actually, I tried this once hoping to give Dogmeat a gourmet experience amidst the wasteland's despair. But turns out, Fallout 4 isn't that in-depth with pet care. No canned dog food treats for our furry friend, unfortunately.
Nah, you can't directly give canned dog food to Dogmeat. Fallout 4 doesn't have a mechanic for feeding your doggo specific items like that. But hey, Dogmeat doesn't seem to mind much. He's just happy to tag along and help out, no special treats needed!
