Nope, you can't give Robux directly. Try buying a game pass from their custom game instead.
I've helped friends out by buying their custom items in their group. It's a bit of a workaround, but it works!
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to send Robux. You could ask your friend to put up a clothing item for sale in their group and buy it.
