Sadly, nope. You can only have one Animal Crossing island per Nintendo Switch console. The game ties one island save file to the console, not the user profile. So, even if you have multiple profiles on your Switch, you all share the same island getaway. Kinda like a tight-knit community vacation that never ends!

Hot take: Just get another Switch. If you really want a second island, that's the workaround. Plus, more Switches, more fun, right?

Actually, I tried everything to get around this for my kids. We ended up buying a second Switch so they could each have their own island. It's a bit of a pain, but on the bright side, we don't argue over who gets to decide where to put the museum anymore!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
