Actually, it's more hassle than it's worth. Just stick to one and save yourself the headache.
Totally! You can have 2 Steam accounts open at the same time by using Steam's built-in feature called 'Big Picture Mode' for one account and the normal desktop client for the other. Another way is to enable Steam Family Sharing, which kinda lets you share games between accounts without switching back and forth.
