Actually, you can't build a vault settlement in Fallout 76 like you might in Fallout 4's Vault-Tec Workshop. Fallout 76 focuses more on surface-level constructions and doesn't include a mechanic for creating your own vault. It's a bit of a bummer for vault fans, but the game still offers a ton of other cool building options!

No vault settlements, sorry. The base game design focuses on camps and surface structures. You've got a whole wasteland as your canvas instead!

Nope, you can't have a vault settlement in Fallout 76. The game lets you build camps pretty much anywhere in the open world, but an actual vault? That's a no-go. But hey, with all the locations to explore and build in, who needs a vault anyway?
